Dr. Levy graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Emory University with BA in French. He earned his medical degree from SUNY Stony Brook College of Medicine in Stony Brook, NY as a member of AOA, the national medical school honor society. He continued his medical training as in Intern in Internal Medicine at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, NY and a residency in neurology at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, MO, the teaching hospital of Washington University in St. Louis. He continued his professional career with a 2 year fellowship in Epilepsy and Sleep disorders at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI. He is board certified in Neurology, Sleep Medicine and Clinical Neurophysiology.
After completing his fellowship in 1999, Dr. Levy joined Bergen Neurology Consultants. In the years since joining the practice, he has been active at Englewood Hospital, serving on many committees. His clinical interests within the field of neurology include epilepsy, sleep disorders and migraine. He currently serves as the associate Director of the Sleep Lab at Englewood Hospital. He has a teaching position at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital Epilepsy clinic where he regularly teaches the residents and fellows. Dr. Levy has frequently been recognized as one of the top neurologists in Bergen County and New York area by Castle Connolly Guide, New York Magazine, (201) Magazine, New Jersey Monthly Magazine and Inside Jersey Magazine. He lives with his wife and three children in Bergen County, New Jersey. Dr. Levy is an avid ice hockey fan and enjoys watching baseball.
