This is a condition caused by entrapment or "pinching" of a nerve that passes from the pelvis to the thigh via the groin.

The symptoms are of numbness and/or pain along the outside border of the thigh.  It can be annoying or downright painful and may persist for pong period of time.  It must be distinguished from other more ominous conditions.
