Precertification and Insurance

We would like to allay any concerns you may have of being billed for medical services.

The doctors participate in all or more of the following health insurance plans:

• Amerihealth
• Anthem
• Blue Cross /Blue Shield
• CIGNA
• Corvel
• Evolutions
• Healthnet
• Horizon
• Magnacare
• Medicare
• Multiplan
• Oxford
• PHS/PHCS
• Qualcare
• United Healthcare

There are other plans the doctors participate in as well, so if you do not see your pan on the above list, call or fax our office to confirm.

Many plans ask that you have a referral from your primary care doctor before you can be seen by a specialist.  You must bring this referral with you for your visit.

If the doctor refers you to another test, this may require precertification by your insurance company.  This means the company must know what test your are getting and approve of it.  This will result in them giving you an authorization number.  You must have this prior to getting the test performed otherwise your insurance company may not pay for it.
